Kanjiramattom Mosque
It is believed that the mosque was erected over the mortal remains of a Muslim saint, Sheikh Parid. Another great Muslim saint, Baver is supposed to have prayed here and attained salvation.

Cheraman Masjid
The masjid was built around 629 A.D. by Malik Ibn Dinar in Kerala style of architecture naming it after their contemporary Cheraman Perumal. This is said to be the first mosque constructed in India.The mosque has an ancient oil lamp which always burns and which is believed to be more than a thousand years old. People of all religions bring oil for the lamp as offering.This mosque allows entry for Non-Muslims.
